Did you know that circuit training is a GREAT way to lose weight and tone up? It’s different than just sitting on a piece of equipment for 30 minutes and zoning out. This will get you energized!!

 

Here is a terrific circuit training program you can do in your own home with NO EQUIPMENT! 

Warm up

5 minutes of gentle jogging on the spot or in circles.

Followed by dynamic stretching of major muscle groups.

 

Work out:

Alternate between exercise 1 and 2; each set is 30 seconds

Take a 10 second break between each exercise

Repeat 4 times each:

1.Running Knees up

2.Jumping Jacks

1.Standing Scissor Jumps

2. Modified push ups on floor or wall (easier)

1. Squat jumps

2. Rear lunges (optional hand weights)

1. Cross country ski (hops side to side)

2. Alternating knee lifts (fast)

Plank (30 seconds to 1 minute)

Back Extension from floor- add alternating arm and leg lift

Plank with hip drop (turn your hips side to side)

Hands and knees- extend opposite arm/opposite leg

 

Stretch:

All muscles exercised
